Alien artifact? Historical documents? A small treasure? Speculation over what might be inside a 100-year-old package that's set to be unsealed today in a small town in Norway abounds, according to Verdens Gang, a Norwegian newspaper.
Today,on August 24th, residents of the town will finally find out what's inside. VGTV.no will be live broadcasting the opening of the Norway package on Friday at noon EST.

Since it was supposed to be opened 1/2 hour ago, maybe its a clock.
Supposedly it’s next.
OK, it’s 12:30 y’all.
I sat thru a seriously pretty 17 year old singer.
I sat thru a lovely hostess speech.
I sat thru a Minister of Culture speech.
I sat thru a guitar, violin, and freakin’ BAGPIPE song (with the sound off, thanks so much).
Now the host and hostess are back on.
She’s quite lovely, but seriously...
GET
ON
WITH
IT
ALREADY.
Drum roll!
” Well, then, it should still be good. As good as lutefisk ever is.”
Good and lutefisk in the same sentence. Kudos
I’ll bet it’s a package of early script drafts of some famous Norwegian movies, such as: “The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist”, “Fillings of Passion”, “The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink”.
A bunch of Orphan Annie Secret Decoder rings.
A sample of Saucy Jack's liver recipe?
Just what I was thinking.
At least they seldom leak into shirt.
That would be Nygardly of him....
Items from 1914 and 1919, in a package supposedly sealed in 1912. Hmm.
Time traveler’s files?
It is a print out of old emails on a Compu Serve account.
Hard to say, looks like lots of documents. Probably the closest post here was the one predicting its the deed to North America, Leif Ericcson was here first. Eviction notice is effective Monday... (so this should be a packing weekend for all of us)
Its a chamber of commerce time capsule. Still, from happier times it may indeed bring pleasure. To historians anyway!
Those pro se filers are on to something. I noticed many years ago in law school that I got much better grades if I typed my essay question answers rather than wrote them out by hand, even though typing was a struggle for me. I always assumed that the easier something is to read, more likely it would be read, and, conversely, the more difficult it is to read the less likely anyone would spend much time on it.
They are sure making a big mess with all of this stuff.
Here is the real link
It looks like a collection of letter, notebooks, newspapers, etc.
thanks
