I’m stunnd that a woman said a guy fell in front of her but she did not know he was shot so she carried on walking.
What the hell is it with some people up there that they see a guy drop to the floor and just walk on as if nothing happened.
Suppose if their messiah obama came or some dopey hollywood star was about they would stop
In LA a couple days ago there was an accident where a car crashed into some poles and a hydrant, and strangers came running to help. The first two, both women, ran into the gathering pool of water, became electrocuted, and died. The next 5 people attempted to try and save anyone and they managed to escape with their lives but are all hospitalized in serious condition.
Some people are very kind and helpful without much concern for their own safety.

I suggest watching Seinfeld reruns as if they were documentaries - pay particular attention to the Costanza character - he encapsulates the native New Yorker ethos wrt duties owed mankind.
That could be a scammer. I witnessed a few of these while I was working in NY back in the 80’s. People would fall and lay on the ground hoping for some dupe to bend over to help and they would knock them over and steal what they could. It usually happened near a large intersection or a subway stop.
I remember when a “bum” grabbed my date’s hand after she gave him some change and went for her purse. I had to punch his face poking his eyes a few times to get him to loosen his grip.
Hence I am an ex-NYer.
