My Life With Lance Armstrong
I was Lances personal assistant for two years, during the height of his racing career. Do I think he cheated? Yep. But my real problem is something that diehard fans seem unable to grasp: the vengeful tactics he uses against people who tell the truth about him, on and off the bike.

I was done with this crap damn near a week ago, so get a life and don't ping me unless you are directly responding to a post that I have made which in this instance, I did not.
But as long as I'm here:
There is no evidence to convict Lance Armstrong, the USADA and Travis Tygart are lyin' bastards, and Mike Anderson says (from the article:
"I joined Armstrongs staff in late 2002 as a mechanic, trail builder, and all-around handyman and assistant. At that time, we were friends who had often been on mountain-bike rides together, and he had made a written and verbal commitment to finance my dream of opening an Austin bike shop once my work with him was done. Armstrong soured on me for reasons that had nothing to do with my performance as an employee, and when I was abruptly fired in late 2004, no clear reason was given for my termination. He reneged on the promise about the bike shop and started attacking me, personally and professionally, in a way that ruined my job prospects in Austin. I ended up moving my family to New Zealand to start a new life."
Ohhh nooo, no bias there.
Anderson just wants to exact some payback for wrongs real or imagined. He has no real evidence beyond what he calls "circumstantial" and all that establishes is that he is nothing but a vengeful little prick.

What are you laughing for, did Joel O’Steen collect another million dollars for his fraudulent empire?

"But more revelations are coming soon, with the release of The Secret Race, a tell-all by Tyler Hamilton and co-author Daniel Coyle that promises to expose U.S. Postals organized doping program in excruciating detail. Judging by an Associated Press report based on an advance copy, the book could be the death blow to Armstrongs reputation as an athlete." The voices against LA are growing in force. I'll hold on to further comments until I see the book. Lance may be an *sshole but it doesn't make him guilty. I still can't get past why he wasn't shown positive many, many more times with all those random teats.

If I ordered every book that interests me, I’d be broke. But, this is one I’ll probably be inclined to search out. My son is a competitive MTB racer. Maybe I’ll wait for a hand me down.

the concept of anonymous testimony is an anathama to justice.
Armstrong should be allowed a LEGITIMATE day in “court” where he can face the accusors and any hard evidence. NOT mere speculation but actual evidence.
At that point it is what it is.

"The Bank of America Chicago Marathon has had no direct contact with Lance Armstrong, nor had he submitted a formal registration to participate in the race." LOL!
I'm sure he is not allowed to compete in the national figure skating competitions either, but waiting for the press release just in case.
Let's see what evidence USADA really has. As I've said before if Tygart can come up with some real evidence, well and good, if not then he will have a face full of eggs.

Like I’ve said before, an anti-doping regime that takes seven to thirteen years after the fact to figure out whether athletes are in fact doping is a bigger problem for the integrity of sports than even the dirtiest athlete.

I was done with the topic long ago. Your unwelcome and unsolicited post was not in response to anything I had said in this thread so once again: cease and desist fool.

THey have little choice. The official arm of the US Government has decreed with no evidence that Armstrong will be banned, and these groups within the United states are bound by law and agreement to go along with this extrajudicial, extralegal decisionmaking.
You find one other person who is banned from running in a marathon in 2012 because they are alleged to have used performance enhancing drugs in the 1990s. It just doesn’t happen. But the USADA has dictatorial powers.
You think Armstrong was juicing to run in the marathon? Why would he — it’s not his sport, he does it for fun.
To: mkjessup
Wow, you used to be such an armstrong supporter.

No I don't. It's just as time goes on, what Lance is reaping speaks loudly about the situation.

No my neuron challenged Joel O'Steen groupie, it's not that I was an 'armstrong supporter', it was my opposition to that joker Travis Tygart who obviously had an axe to grind and the power of the USADA to swing it with. They couldn't even follow their own guidelines in their zeal to hang Armstrong on their mantle like a dead moose.
Now we're done son, so toddle along and enjoy this free graphic, no charge:

But you were also convinced that Armstrong was innocent. And look how armstrong’s empire is collapsing.
