Did anyone realized he was still alive? Based on the photo at the link, I'm not convinced that he is.
I thank him for his brave service in World War II and respectfully ask him to go back to the day room and have his nurse make him a nice hot cocoa and turn the channel to MSNBC.

GOP losers are really the biggest losers and they are the best in the profession of losers. In fact, if there is one thing the GOP elite are really good at it is losing.
And of the truly elite among the elite of elite GOP losers you have the Bob Dole and John McCain.

Romney has been successful in his endeavors over the years precisely because he doesn’t take advice from losers.

search for Bob Dole lobbying Bob Dole is raking in gazillions as a crony communist lobbyist.
Like other crony communists, he doesn't want to see his lucrative gravy train grind to a halt.
F'em all. Cut the purse strings.

Before you get all riled up, this comment from the source is worth looking into:
“The author of this article misrepresents Mr Dole’s advice for reasons of his own. Mr Dole in no way ,shape, or form, is suggesting that Mr Romney distance himself from the tea party. Mr Dole never referenced them as the extreme right wing of the party. To me, that describes the bible thumping anti-abortion crew.”

When the heck did Romney ever particularly cozy up to the Tea Party to begin with? I sure never saw it. Never cozied up to the social conservatives either. Nor the economic libertarian crowd. Just the same old big-government “ruling class” that Dole himself represented. Dole should be happy.

Mr Dole, now 89, disclosed that he had advised Mr Romney on running for president during a meeting at his Washington office in November. He said the former Massachusetts governor showed "flexibility" and a willingness to forge the type of bipartisan deals rejected by current Republican leaders in Congress. Oh. So HE was the idiot. Thanks, Bob.
