My point was Red, with his excerpt choices, left the impression that Akin had more support than he actually has.
The article names an impressive list of people whose advice Akin is hearing. Phyllis Schlafly may be the best person to weigh in on this whole mess. She has a lifetime of dealing with press bias and all things female.
