I do.
The beard is a symbol that says the accused is not in the United States Army and is in fact an Islamic radical unjustly being put on trial. The growing of the beard is a display of disdain for the military and to the oath the officer swore on joining.
The officer on trial must be present in proper uniform and acting in the manner of an officer and a gentleman.

I agree wholeheartedly, but let's get this going. Shave him and haul him into court instead of an endless delay. Where was his beard before the shooting? This is all political theater on his part to gain publicity.
