I accept Akin’s apology and appreciate his solid conservative background. All great.
Meanwhile, he’s thrown it all out the window by refusing to exit from a race he unwittingly sabotaged. And no, I will not throw $$ to a campaign I know will end in a landslide defeat.
But none of that matters to Akin. He thinks he’s doing God’s work. Whatever.
There is real irony in your position. You, as are most of us, are solidly pro-life. In your heart you think Akin can still win, but if you have a logical brain you know he cannot. There are other pro-life Republicans who could take his place and win. So the irony is that our side has pro-life candidates who could get rid of pro-abortion McCaskill, but you stubbornly dig in your heels for the only pro-life candidate who cannot win. So the pro-abort stays in office. And more innocent babies die, which is the very thing you oppose. For some reason, you cannot seem to understand or accept what is true.
You may think it is unfair, but some here may make the conclusion that you are working for McCasKILL. Can you blame them?
