But you know what, life isn’t fair, and sometimes that unfairness starts the exact moment someone is conceived.

If a woman is raped, becomes pregnant as a result and then choose to terminate that pregnancy, then I support that decision without question.

I will not judge someone who has walked that path. I will not do it.

I am pro life, but I do not ever have to face the decision of give birth to a child of rape, because I am a man. That terrible choice that a woman must make or not make, and that woman shall have my support regardless of her decision.

Akin's record is pretty much unmatched as far as his conservative creds. But you'd think he was the stupidest man who ever lived if you look around this forum. Since Akin is more conservative than nearly every one of the RINO's calling for his head, what does that say about the intelligence of the Freepers who have joined in that chorus?

If you believe it’s life (and by the way it is innocent life) then you are saying it is ok to take that life... your “not the baby’s fault” argument is not one in your favor.... it’s an argument against your position.

You’re certainly free to hold that position.... just understand that it is logically flawed and you are giving the child the ultimate punishment for the crime of another.

And yes, I believe it’s life, and to terminate it is obviously killing that life.

But there are times in this world when killing is justified, and if that is the decision that is made in the case of a rape, then that is the decision that is made.

Having a child conceived in love is much different then having a child conveived in hate, rage, anger and malice.

If I were female and that happened to me, I would bear no such child.

If you want to, then do it.

The person responsible for what happened is the rapist. He’s resposible for every bit of it, so may he pay the price both here and there.
