My pleasure.
It’s just time to stop being predictable, easily manipulated chickens afraid of our own shadow.
We don’t let them push us anymore, we push them.
As far as I am concerned, Mr Akin is infintitley smarter than the vice president, as well as more articulate.
He certainly made a mistake, but should he disappear from public life as Mr. Chris Christie suggested?
Nope.
Way to be a follower and not a leader, Mr. Christie.

She threw herself under the bus with this crazy “I’m not a witch” commercial...And nobody was listening to the rest of the commercial where she tried to discuss issues. Sound familiar?
To: A Strict Constructionist
No, Third Rail of politics is not built where you think it oughta be built. From now on, GOP will be the party of “legitimate rape” to much of the populace, whether you like it or not, whether it’s right or not. Go out there and argue that it’s unfair, and that it’s not in the dictionary.

Seriously??? Akin’s a freakin’ idiot! Can’t the GOP do better than this?? For God’s sake, I’m just sayin’ ... why can’t the right find articulate people who understand the power of the media and know how to work it like REAGAN did in his era?

Or Sharron Angle.....or Ken Buck......or...well people get the point. :) This isn't the 2008 election - nowhere near that being a new election year. A totally different set of circumstances from 2008 or 2006 or 2004.
Obama and his administration epic failures are the overriding issue at hand no matter what. Akin's mistake is not going change any of the failures of ObamaNation outside of Missouri race.
If the *big-headed Akin stays in the race, which seems likely, and you guys don't quit being harping harpies, it will cause a defeat to that silly Obamamite MCcaskill. You Harpies will share a big part of the blame for the loss of the Missouri Senate seat along with Akin.
*I'd bet almost every single beltway Senator has just as big of an EGO as Akin has or likely bigger EGOS. They are all pretty much fat heads.
To: Red Steel
All those people ran in 2010, not sure where you've been. They ran in a year during a massive Republican tidal wave and while O'Donnell might have had a tough time where she was, Buck and Angle had seats that were completely winnable, and they blew it, especially Angle with her atrocious campaign, she had the opportunity to retire Dingy Harry and blew it.

Thanks for the information.
No wonder the RINOs want Akin out! This man is about as True Conservative as you can be
If the Liberal PhonyCons do not want Akin to be Senator in Missouri....I will be glad to take him down here in Florida. The same PhonyCons trying to push out Akin are the same ones who claim that Amnesty-lovin’, America-hating, “My parents fled capitalism”, Marco “La Raza” Rubio, is a Conservative. They can have Rubio
Hopefully the “Senator Trade Deadline” has not passed

To: PhxTM06
Still the same difference for 2010 election too. Harpy, two more years have gone by to make it four, and Obama has now been defined as an epic failure and that is sticking to him bigtime. Akin is not going to change any of that.
To: GBT1945
If Akin was bought off by the Democrat Party with instructions to produce a voting record like the one outlined at On the Issues, I may have to seriously reconsider my opinion of the their party. It's well beyond any level of 'conservative' I would have believed them capable of orchestrating.

Worth repeating. (But keep your head down ... the stones are flying in here. We must be in the company of some pretty perfect people.)

You are very welcome. As threads pop up left and right to attempt further crucifixion of Akin, please consider forwarding post'rs to the On the Issues page, lest they blindly believe Akin is part of the problem instead of the solution.

I don't think you read Akin's voting record. Or, like Akin, you have confused a word and didn't really mean "idiot". It's actually a very impressive conservative career. I'd vote for him for POTUS over Romney or Obama any day.

****I understand that he is a 100% pro lifer. I do disagree with that position, because I believe the rape, incest, life of mother exception should be aloowed and not condemned.****
This is a totally inconsistent position no matter who takes it.
It’s always amazed me that a pregnant woman can get punched in the stomach and lose the baby and the person who punched her can go to jail for murder. The woman, however, can go the kill the baby and it’s no problem.
A human has 46 chromosomes. At conception the baby got 23 from his mom and 23 from his dad.
If you believe it is life then what right does anyone have to take it.... for any reason? If you don’t believe it is life then why aren’t you pro-choice?

It is, I agree.
After the insulting, ridiculous, pandering comment of Biden about CHAIAIAIAIAIANNSNSSZZS, and all of the calls for him to be replaced, The white hut comes out and says Crazy Joe ain’t goin’ nowhere.
That is how it is done.
You do not give your enemy one ****ing inch of ground. Not one damn inch.
Akin made a mistake. He was man enough to apologize more than once. Joe the Coward said nothing.
It’s time to elect Akin senator.
