NEW YORK (AP) -- President Barack Obama is mocking Senate candidate Todd Akin of Missouri for his remarks about a woman's body being able to avoid pregnancy during what Akin called a "legitimate rape."

Obama tells a group of donors in New York that the Republican congressman from Missouri "somehow missed science class" even though he sits on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.

This is the idiot who wasn't able to publish any articles on law review, whose claim to fame before being a senator that caught lightning was being Acorn's attorney, an adjunct instructor on con law (and not a good one) and rose beyond his level of competence in running this country into the ground. He didn't pay his dues in life and it shows in his results. Todd Akin may have missed biology class as well as public speaking 101, but he does know science. He's an engineer by training.

Akin is radioactive. The commie press will repeat his insane remark 24 hours a day every day until he’s gone, using it to try and tar every other Republican in 2012 and to avoid having to report on the economy and Obama’s record in general. This is what the commie media have been waiting for: a way to define Republicans as extremist nut jobs, and Akin is their perfect storm. I don’t care who he is or what he stands for, Akin has simply got to go. Period.
