UPDATE: Group commits assault, violent robbery on VCU's main campus
RICHMOND, Va. --

Police are searching today for a group of about 15 young men believed to have punched one passerby and robbed and beaten another in rapid succession on Virginia Commonwealth University's main downtown Richmond campus.
Neither victim was seriously injured in the two attacks, which happened along Shafer Street on the Monroe Park campus about 2:55 a.m.
VCU and Richmond police described the assailants as a group of 15 black males between the ages of 17 and 22.
“Last night there was a tremendous amount of activity... between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.,”....
The first victim, who is not a VCU student, reported being punched without provocation .....
Moments later, the group encountered the second victim, a VCU student, ....comment about his boots before he was punched in the back of the head and knocked to the ground.
Once on the ground, .... , "Give me everything you've got." The student was punched again, this time in the neck, and a pack of cigarettes was stolen .....
The assailants were last seen.....
The attacks came just days after students had returned to campus....

Many Young Black Men Are Afraid They Will End Up Like Trayvon...
Let me guess, this won’t be a hate crime either. I think it’s a useless designation, but it’s good for underscoring the hypocrisy occurring WRT race in this country.
If black teenagers raping elderly white women doesn’t fit the designation of “hate crime”, nothing does.
The black juveniles who beat Pat Maheny and hospitalised him said they did it because “they were bored” Gary Foust, the police chief, says it’s not a hate crime because the attackers didn’t mention doing it based on race. Oh, so they get to decide? As long as they don’t cop to it, it’s not? Does it work that way the very few times it’s a white on black crime?
But the usual suspects will be back out in force demonstrating and setting up Paypal accounts the next time a lesbian falsely accuses some nonexistant people of attacking her, or a group of white males get falsely accused of raping a black woman.
I’m so sick of this, I wish it would come to a head. I can’t begin to say how sick of it I am, I’d be banned. Let the fever break.
They are obviously unaware of the crime statistics regarding interracial crime. Or just as likely, they ignore them because they don’t serve the agenda.

Liberals are the first to tell those who are interested in staying alive that you cannot live with a fortress mentality. I beg to differ.
People have to be armed, and carrying daily. By the accounts we have, this subhuman that killed Ms. Boken tried to car jack her or tried to rob her of her purse while she was seated in the car talking with her mother.
You must, MUST be in condition yellow or orange when you are in a city and especially around the predator class. You simply cannot afford to be in condition rectal defilade. Remember these predators have no problem with shooting you even if you comply with their demands.
Here’s a tip I have developed while living and working in the city.
When you come to an intersection, observe who is standing around it. Have a plan to bust through that intersection if necessary and have your piece ready, as in hand on it. Keep your doors locked, ALWAYS. This may be all the time you need to be able draw and shoot a potential carjacker. A locked door is an obstacle they neither want nor plan for. Once they recover from this, they will point their weapon at you and demand you to open the door. If you flee, they will shoot at you. It’s just part of their culture so plan for it.

These type events often begin as cheap shots.
Sooner or later, though, one of these groups will meet up with someone who is armed and has his back to a wall. And two or more of them will get gut shots.
However, predator-prey rules apply. The predators will wait for somebody who looks weak, drunk or unaware. They will leave alone somebody who looks like they might fight back.
