Oh dear. This is seriously crazy.
Todd Akin blamed the liberal media tonight for trying to make him drop out of the race.
Are Mitt Romney, John Ashcroft, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin the liberal media?

Wow1 I can only respond to this with something akin to a pregnant silence!
Mitt is a liberal.
Flinging himself on the Aikin grenade was Mitt’s McCain moment and I’m betting it won’t be the last.
This can’t last much longer, the guys with the nets will be coming...
All too frequently.
Why can’t we put this much pressure on Mitt to change his pro-homosexual stance?
If we did, he would.
Sure, but he's not the media.
Since this has turned into multiple threads, let me post a comment I made earlier:
Akin spoke incautiously, and then he got absolutely ripped for it by practically everybody. But I gather that he is a good, sound conservative. And even though his wording gave the liberal press an opportunity to jump in and bash him, he was basically right in principle. Rape should not be an excuse for abortion, especially taxpayer funded abortion.
We should not be encouraging the victims of rape to abort their babies. Rape is a terrible experience, but so is abortion. Being persuaded to abort her child, even though unwanted, will only make the mother feel even worse. More importantly, its not the babys fault that he is the product of a rape. If his mother doesnt want to keep her child, and that is certainly understandable, then it can be adopted out to someone else.
Obama has said things a thousand times worse than this, and has repeatedly gotten a free pass from the press. But if a conservative pro-lifer says it, the leftist media blast it all over the place. And then all the so-called conservatives hop on board the left-wing propaganda train, for fear of damage. What could be more damaging than to jump on board a Communist propaganda train because youre afraid of what it might do? How about saying, instead, that these presstitutes are baby killers, and that although Akin may have used some unfortunate wording, he was ultimately right. Abortion is evil, even in the case of rape.
No. Mitt’s a liberal Republican.
It’s becoming increasingly clear this guy is a lunatic.
No. In this particular matter they are spineless, political opportunists. Rather than put the best construction on things in defense of the unborn, they fear how loud liberals will squawk as their sacrament of abortion is withheld in the interest of what is good and right.
Why cant we put this much pressure on Mitt to change his pro-homosexual stance?

Romney already moved left and came out and said he is for abortion for rape and incest. I guess he thinks those babies should die a horrible death because the sins of their fathers. He also says gays should be able to adopt. Everyone said we can hold Romney’s feet to the fire if he moves left. Who is going to put the gas on the fire?
After listening Sean Hannity whine like a schoolgirl all show for Akin to drop out...it does sound like the liberal media is trying to run Akin out...definitely the Pro-Aborts in the GOP are doing so
I’m a broken record, but I blame our set-in-concrete 1 & 1/2 party system. In multi-party systems, where members pay, GASP! membership fees, and citizens don’t have to state their party preference for all criminal crazies to see, when they (the citizens) register to vote, and most citizens are not party members, in such systems a political party reserves to itself the right to expel members who don’t toe the line or who embarrass the party. Here, I repeat,’coz I’m a broken record, Obama could have run in 2008 on the Republican ticket and no one would blink a eye!

Isnt the stand his church takes amto abortion?
The left wants him to stay. They paid for him to be there. Seems like the right is trying to get him to leave. He had his chance, and he won the election as a RINO, but now it’s time to go.
