From listening to him, the guy is clearly in shock and in denial.
I think he just find it impossible to believe that in the span of 30 secs, he destroyed entire political career. He doesn’t want to believe it, he doesn’t think it should happen, he doesn’t believe it *can* happen.
Unfortunately, it can happen, and it did happen. By the time he comes to grips with it, which will be when he’s down 15 points in the polls sometimes in late September. It will be too late.
Akin is staying in because of principle? Doesn’t he realize that principles and politics don’t mix?

Many Republicans and conservatives don't understand the Democrats. Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid do all the complex thinking for the hive mind. The rank & file Democrats are left with that which they understand - their PeePees and their Cooters. As this is what they think about most of their day (since the important thoughts are being taken care by Big Brain Obama), they're self-anointed experts on the subject.
So Todd Akin wanders into their playpen and presumes to tell them how their ladyparts and littleboyparts work.

If you don't believe me, go read the comments on nearly any other site. It's all smugness about knowing more about their ladyparts than this old fossil Akin.
You know, this really scares me. We only see a few Congressmen and women as the faces of the Republican party. If Akin is the type of man or woman they have to keep under wraps except for a few appearances every two years before the election, things are much worse than I thought they could ever be.

You are hearing what you want to hear. He has apologized vociferously. Have you not been listening. If you look I put the phrase ‘play the game’ in italics because I knew someone like you would wilfully and with malice engaged in what the democrats engage in...that is misapplying the written word. You say he is a complete idiot. Is that more stupid and insensitive than what Akin said. Have you adtually met and evaluated Akins cognitive normalcy. Loyalty is not the RINO strong suit.

High stress can and often does shut down a woman’s ovaries for a while. It would depend on the timing for what he offers to be operative.

Heard that Obama intended to use religion as a wedge issue, and this guy is using that line as well, after riling up the female voters (another Obama trick).
I'd like to know how may "pure" conservatives accept funding from liberal donors.
There are a heckuvalot of smart guys who know math, engineering,computers, and even science.
But when it comes to female anatomy, they cringe and close their minds.
