The best news in recent polling is Romney doing well in these traditionally blue states. Even if he loses Michigan, PA, etc, Obama is going to have to spread his ad budget and can’t concentrate all their money in the swing states. My feeling is he only carries Ohio if he is able to sink a big chunk of his spending there. He’s going to have to ‘spread it around’ a lot to keep his base states.
This same polling outfit also shows Pete Hoekstra with a +2 over Debbie Stabenow. If that’s in any way accurate that’s a great development!
Every nickel of funding for the Akin campaign should be redirected to the Hoekstra effort to unseat Debbie Stabenow.
