That’s how badly they wanted to face him, and their strategy worked so well that they might get Brunner or Steelman or maybe even a more established Missouri Republican instead. ...............Let's hope so.

It doesn’t seem likely that anyone can step in and save this race at this late date. Especially in Missouri where vote fraud is the norm.

I don't mean to defend Akin, but to point out the double standard in the MSM. Remember this from a certain Democrat?

Prudhomme soon bore in: "So you didn't believe Juanita Broaddrick's claim."

Gore: "No, I didn't say that. I think I said I don't know how to evaluate that, and I didn't see, uh, the interview. Uh, but I must say something else to you about this....I think that, uh, I think that whatever mistakes he made in his personal life are in the minds of most Americans balanced against what he has done in his personal life as President."

Here's a reminder.

All I know is that the feeding frenzy won’t end with him.

Reportedly, one of the man’s children told him: “What you said is akin to a faux pas, pa!”

Let’s keep two things separate.

How conservative he is has zero to do with how stupid he is. There are smart and stupid of every political stripe. Don’t mix the two and say someone is smart or stupid because he agrees or disagrees with you.

Sigh. Akin is a repeat of the disaster in Colorado in 2010, when that Tea Party favorite fool Ken Buck lost a sure Senate pickup against a weak candidate and a Democrat party divided by a vicious primary.

Buck simply could NOT keep his size 12 cowboy boots out of his pie hole. Every time they got yanked out, why they instantly got sucked back in, as if boot and mouth were the opposite polls of a powerful magnet.

Buck clearly wouldn’t listen to his advisers, he could not stay on message, and he thought he was smarter than the press (which he wasn’t). Completely infuriating. I could have done better than Buck.

Buck at least had an excuse though: he’d never run for office beyond Weld County District Attorney. No such excuse for Akin.

Almost any Republican can win a contest in this country if the electorate isn’t completely dominated by leftist Progressives. Scott Brown in Massachusetts demonstrated that. Brown stayed on message. He had five talking points and never, ever deviated from them. No matter what question was asked, he answered with one or more of his five talking points. Not a single gaff or gotcha was incurred from Brown. Now really, how difficult is that strategy? Just sit in a room and practice that strategy with some pretend-reporters until you can do that in your sleep. Once you have that down pat, you’ll win your election.”

Anderson Cooper just on, sounding like he is actually on the verge of an orgasm (joke). I know it is none of my business from up Canada way but.....

The First Amendment to the Constitution still stands. Do not people see? The stock in trade of the liberals, Democrats et al, is to trumpet and thunder about some simple statement. Now that statement may be ill advised. The whole filthy machinery of the MSM then moves into gear. They feign some sort of incredible outrage.

Good sensible people then fall for the whole tactic. With a bit of luck it will fizzle out. For all of us in the English speaking world, the future of America is at stake. Possibly other nations too will be affected. Tiz, the question of whether Governor Romney will defeat President Obama.

(I had such a quiet day today- until now).

Check my tagline. Akin will win this race without breaking a sweat if the RINO’S would just STFU.
