If Japan were smart, they would use this hyper-nationalism promoted by the Chinese Communists against them. The Chinese Gov’t may allow, once, public demonstrations against Japan, but they are extremely wary of such demonstrations getting out of control.
Perhaps a few more minor irritations such as landing a few people on the Diaoyutais might encourage Chinese citizens to go out on the street and protest.
See how quickly the Chinese Gov’t clamps down....
Hang in there, Japan!...............
日本 ピング (kono risuto ni hairitai ka detai wo shirasete kudasai : let me know if you want on or off this list)
No problem Japan...Ram-Bama has your back.
Great way to dump our debt and stop the importation of chineese crap,
stir the pot and get Japan and China to get into a war and take japans side and tell chi-coms to pound sand.
The Japanese can barely fend off the “Rainbow Warrior”.I don’t give them much chance against the “People’s Navy”.

There is an article in the WSJ that explains what is going on with all the islands in the South China Sea. The Chinese are claiming them all, even the ones that have long been considered possessions of other countries, like Japan or Vietnam.
China has recently sold oil leases around islands that are in the economic sphere of Vietnam. China established what they call a prefecture for all the islands, sent in 45 people to act as the legislature and a garrison of soldiers to back them up. There aren’t very many people on these islands, mostly uninhabited, but the treasure is in under sea minerals and the control of trade routes.
Obama does nothing.
It’s amazing that a few protestors can get Nations’ panties into a war twist these days. We live in interesting times.
Chinese expansionism is becoming increasingly egregious; can it be very much longer before they start military actions along their borders targeted at India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, or Japan?
This would be like, a dozen Tea Partiers raise a US flag in Mexico, and the whole country of Mexico gets bent out of shape.
Touchy, touchy, touchy.
China also very recently took the Paracel and Spratly Islands between Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines. Theres quite a bit of oil under the Spratly Islands. She’s spreading out, folks, and not much, if anything, will be done about it at this late point in events.
