There is typically one of two things at play in the thought process that makes this scenario "sensible" to Liberals: 1) Shhh! They are trying to boil the frog with a gradual increase in the temperature 2) Logic is NOT a common trait among liberal leftists!

Of course, with the Communist/Marxist Admin we have today these are NOT mutually exclusive!
