Please, there’s no sense in arguing this stuff any further. My opinion on Romney has not changed one iota. And it has nothing to do with religion. It’s his past unquestionably liberal progressive record. There’s no way in hell that I’m going to pretend he’s suddenly a conservative or anything but who he’s always been. Like many others, I just want to vote out Obama and as many of his corrupt godless democrats as we possibly can from every level of government from sea to shining sea.
So what does that mean “no need to argue further”, then should those of us who do not support Romney leave this site as undesirables?
Are we allowed discussions at all, or has FR become a site where only supports the GOPe and not conservatism are allowed to “argue”?
We've got to get that Anti-American OUT of office.
By continuing to support and elect as many real conservatives as possible, we ought to eventually be able to take back the GOP. And by hammering away at Mitt, we ought to be able to move him, at least a little, to the right.
Paul Ryan was a good choice; says Mitt will focus on the economy - if we get that, and that alone, we will have won something significant.
Kudos, Jim. Excellent call! Waiting for my Romney/Ryan bumper sticker to arrive in the mail as we speak...
We aren't talking about you're opinions of Romney here Jim and YOU know it but that's fine! You're right! There is no point in arguing this any further. Take care!
Finally, there's a comment on this thread that I can wholeheartedly agree with.
Personally, I think that group agreement on the right has sufficiently coalesced around the idea of openly supporting Romney, that my measly little protest vote won't make a bit of difference. Seems to me that a plurality of Americans (including me) want Obama fired, and I believe that he will be.
Piss be upon him, but his ideological twin will not get my vote under any circumstance.
