Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential candidate on Friday charged that critics are trying to "swiftboat" President Obama with false and "ridiculous" claims and that Mitt Romney is a foreign policy rookie who embarrassed himself during a recent trip to London.
In a letter to Obama's supporters, he railed on the charges Obama has been hit with, including those from the so-called "birthers."
The attacks, he said, "remind me all too well of the notorious 'Swift Boat' attacks I faced in the 2004 campaign." He was referencing devastating charges from fellow Vietnam War veterans questioning his service.
In the note, he also slapped Romney for being a foreign policy novice and potential presidential disaster. "Republicans have a candidate with absolutely no foreign policy experience, who thinks Russia is our 'number one geo-political foe' and who is advised by people who think -- and have repeatedly said -- the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia are countries that still exist. Romney's two major foreign policy speeches never even mentioned Al Qaeda once, and he's prone to stumbles when he steps onto the foreign policy stage. He can't even manage to visit London without causing an international incident!"

Kerry’s less-than-awesome service record in inconsequential to me: it’s his record immediately after his time on Vietnam that is important. He met with the North Vietnamese and then spent all of his time betraying his country - and his former shipmates - to get the enemy to win. He is a traitor, period. Lucky for him, he ran for office in Massachusetts - he couldn’t have run for dogcatcher anywhere else.
Thank goodness for those Massachusetts voters who would even vote into office a serial killer so long as he/she were democrat.
That rice in his butt must get itchy sometimes and he just has to find a reporter to talk to for a distraction.

I never saw this obamas video where Michelle says, rather clearly, “all this for a damn flag.”. What occasion was this? How recent? I am shocked to see this. Though I shouldn’t be. I did not want to see this. They hate our country and half the people here want them to stay in charge of it.
I want to cry. I knew they feel this way but it hurts to be right.
All I remember about Kerry’s service is that he met with the communists that the USA was fighting while still in the reserves. Is that false?
The image of “reporting for duty” Kerry arriving at the donk convention in a boat like he was patrolling a river in Vietnam will forever be seared into my memory. What a disgusting display that was,,,acting like a mighty war hero.
The facts are that with very few exceptions, none of which come to mind, the MSM controls the language of politics. They add new words and phrases to the political vocabulary as the need arises and there seems to be very little that we can do about it.
The MSM Controls not just the language but EVERYTHING in politics. Period.
And there indeed seems to be very little we can do about it.

All the living commanders in Kerry’s chain of command—Joe Streuhli (Commander of CosDiv 13), George Elliott (Commander of CosDiv 11), Adrian Lonsdale (Captain, USCG and Commander, Coastal Surveillance Center at An Thoi), Rear Admiral Roy Hoffmann (Commander, Coastal Surveillance Force Vietnam, CTF 115), and Rear Admiral Art Price (Commander of River Patrol Force, CTF 116)—deny that Kerry was ever ordered to Cambodia. They indicate that Kerry would have been seriously disciplined or court-martialed had he gone there. At least three of the five crewmen on Kerry’s PCF 44 boat—Bill Zaldonis, Steven Hatch, and Steve Gardner—deny that they or their boat were ever in Cambodia. The remaining two crewmen declined to be interviewed for this book. Gardner, in particular, will never forget those days in late December when he was wounded on PCF 44, not in Cambodia, but many miles away in Vietnam.

I’ve no idea when or where - but that’s what she is saying - and that’s what she feels when viewing our flag.
The sad part is that 40% or so of voters still like these two and there is a good chance for re-election. It’s the saddest thing ever at the political level in America.
As an aside, watch how Obama stumbles just a little as he speaks without a teleprompter - that’s because he’s thinking one thing and having to say another - it’s really hard to communicate when one isn’t telling the truth.
