Ryan is going into the belly of the beast. Stole that line from Fox. I do think we may be turning the tide in our direction on the Medicare front.

I am so anxious to hear Ryan and see his relationship with his mother. I have always found it very telling how Obama has never proclaimed how much his mother and grandmother meant to him, how they helped him, trained him, gave him values, inspired him, guided him, etc. It has been obvious to me that he holds neither in respect or in his heart. And, neither does he show any true love or appreciation for his wife. Rather, he only jokes about what she does not allow him to do, or tells him not to do. He even uses his daughters for his own policy advancement, such as "..never want them to be saddled with a burden," when talking about abortion.
I have also always argued with Dems who say that Republicans hate women, and would hurt women and old people with their agenda. Do Dems think that Republicans don't have women and older parents, relatives, friends whom they love and would not want to see struggle or hurt? This ridiculous belief and lie has been spread by the Left...yet it is their leader who has no attachments to women, or senior citizens for whom he has a heartfelt concern or appreciation.

Ryan doesn’t seem to have the spark and sparkle that I have seen in the last week....wonder why?
They love him though.....

I think he is trying for sincere and honest.

He is speaking from some notes and his heart. The crowd seems to love him. At least he can speak without a teleprompter.

Okay, I really like Paul Ryan. But he just said, after describing the polarization Obama has created in the country, that Romney “reached across the aisle” to the Democrats in Massachusetts, and that’s what we need now. If Ryan thinks that’s what we need, or that’s what conservatives want to hear, he needs to wake up FAST.

Glad to see the reception he is getting considering that the vast majority of those living in The Villages are not Southeners. Most of the people I know who live there and their friends are northeasterners. Not exactly a bastion of conservatism.

Considering the pace he has been on it no wonder his spark is fading. They need to give him a break.

No but most of the Ind voters who will decide this election think this way. That is a pitch to the Independent vote.
