This will be a most important stop today in Florida for Romney/Ryan. A strong, enthusiastic turnout of folks in central Florida for Paul Ryan will further the reality, that come November, 2012, Florida will be solidly in the Romney/Ryan camp!!!
I urge all central Florida residents of the “Villages” and surrounding area to trun out enmasse to welcome Paul ryan and his mom!!! GoodLluck & Best Wishes for a stunning, magnificent, successful campaign stop this morning in the “Villages!!!
but, but Andy Sullivan at Rooters told me that Ryan wasn’t going to be talking about medicare.
I remember when Sarah Palin went there and the crowd was at 60,000! Fox News is reporting from The Villages and will be giving a report soon.

THE VILLAGES —
Mitt Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, is making Central Florida his first campaign stop in the Sunshine State.
Ryan will speak in The Villages this morning.
We will carry his speech LIVE from The Villages at 10 a.m.
With health care such an important issue for both presidential candidates, it would seem fitting Ryan wants to go over his plan with our senior population.
However, not all of them want to hear it.
The rally was supposed to start at 7:30 a.m. So far, approximately 20 protesters have arrived.
Since Romney announced Ryan as his running mate last week, the Republican campaign has shifted from the economy to Medicare.
That’s why several seniors said they would protest Ryans stop.
Meanwhile, several supporters are worried about President Obama’s plan for Medicare.
“I don’t know that he has a perfect plan, said Ryan supporter Jim Sparacino regarding Medicare. I don’t think there is a perfect plan. Mr. Obama has no plan.”
Many people are anxious to hear what Ryan will say, regarding his ideas for not only Medicare, but health care in general.
Thank you for posting this. We have friends who attended the Ryan speech yesterday in Virginia. After his speech, he waded into an large and enthusiastic crowd. We really enjoyed watching it.
I think the two biggest things that Ryan can get across to an audince of largely retired people is that those over 55 will not be effected!!
Also as I understand it those under 55 will have the option of things as they are,or the new plan assuming we win and dump obamcare.
Either way Seniors still get what they bargained for years ago under a Romeny adm. which has not been well stated so far.
And if only 50,000 show up it wouldn't surprise me if the media tries to spin it this way: "Today Ryan went to The Villages where Sarah Palin stumped four years ago, yet Ryan was unable to attract the numbers that Gov Palin did. You have to think this may be a worrisome sign for Republicans that the Ryan Express is already starting to lose momentum. And now we'll turn to President Obama, who will be speaking at a high school gym shortly."
Looks like Obama is holding BBQ’s all over central Fla. this weekend according to the link on cfnews13. That down home southern BBQ approach for all those southern hayseed hicks.
Thanks for the link!
Its already started. Ive seen some tweets from reporters saying much smaller crowd than palin in 2008.
WESH in Volusia county on the east coast is covering this live:
Looks like Fox will be covering this—at least part of it. Ryan hasn’t started speaking yet (7:15 PDT), but should be soon.
VP Ryan now speaking, his mom is beautiful!
“We have a choice to make...”
The massive retirement community, has over 50,000 residents according to the 2010 recent Census.
Fully 95 percent of the donations from the Villages 32162 ZIP code have gone to Republicans this year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Thanks for the alert...went and watched it. I am glad he is talking about the medicare/obamacare issue/spending issues.
Now THAT is good news! Thanks for providing it.
