2 years for a protest? I think a 50 dollar fine would be enough. Again, their real offense was pointing out the uncomfortable fact that the church is currently in the service of the KGB. Freedom of speech is there so people can tell uncomfortable truths.

But it is NOT there to cause disruptions to church services.

It would be the same if it happened in a Church of England service and the protestors thought the Church was an arm of the government. While 2 yrs is a bit harsh, I get the impression this is not their first rodeo, protest-wise.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood is crucifying people on the streets. Our State Department can’t seem to muster up much moral outrage over that.....but some punks? On it like white on rice.
