Romney needs to counterpunch. "Here's the deal, Mr. President. I will release my 2009 tax return, which I'm holding right here, within 1 minute of you releasing your college transcripts, and any articles you wrote at Harvard."

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: taxreturn; vanity
Repeat this in every speech.

Hold up the envelpoe.

"What are you hiding???"

Rep. Ryan, too.

Every Speech should include this, and "You may have voted for Hope and Change, but what you got was Hate and Division."

Hell no. The tax returns are a trap. Obama has always done this. He wants those returns so he can make hay of them (even if there’s nothing wrong). I say hell no. Romney needs to hold his ground on this.

As Ann Romney said last night in her interview, they’ve released everything they’re required by law to release. When they do release anything, Obama raises an imaginary stink and attacks it. - The very idea that this Masked Man inhabiting the White House now has the nerve to suggest
ANYONE else is hiding something is absolutely preposterous. - The media’s sure carrying Obama’s water; vetting Romney, while still ignoring their messiah’s missing information.

I don’t think ROmney should demand to see Obama’s transcripts; pundits and Romney supporters should demand it. Romney shouldn’t touch the issue because there’s the danger his team would produce phony trancripts and there wouldn’t be time to prove they are phony and then Romney would have to produe more tax returns.

On the face of it, it sounds like a great idea. However, since we can’t believe much of anything Obama says, “What makes anyone believe that he would show his “Real College transcripts”? He loves to brag, so I feel pretty confident that if he made such “stellar grades”, he would have had them out in the public eye long before now.

I think that is about the 18,000th time that idea has been posted here.

Better yet, "I will release my tax returns when President Obama releases all the subpoenaed ‘Fast and Furious’ documents."

No way. You exaggerate. 15,000 maybe....

15,000 suggestions Obama’s somehow good for his word. Meh.

Someone suggested this to Mitt a year ago (when this started) and his highly educated elite advisers replied - Not exactly sporting to bring that up, old man.

You don’t bargain with thugs, because once you do, it will never be enough for them. They look at it as a sign of weakness on your part. Besides, most voters could care less about Romney’s tax returns, and at this point, let’s just get rid of Obama. The truth about him will eventually come to light after he’s gone anyway.

The problem is that Obama has released his tax returns, but Romney has not released his college transcripts. I don’t think Romney is going to be able to make much of a political point by demanding that Obama release something that Romney has not released, in exchange for Romney releasing something Obama has already released.

Rep. West has counteroffer for Obama's tax-return request

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) set high stakes in an offered “deal” with President Obama on Friday.

Obama’s campaign isn’t backing down on requests to see Mitt Romney’s tax returns — on Friday, campaign manager Jim Messina offered to stop asking if he releases five years' worth — but the freshman Florida congressman had a counteroffer for Obama.

“Show us your sealed college records and Operation Fast and Furious White House memos, and we will all show you our tax returns,” West wrote on his Facebook page Friday.

Don’t answer, don’t counter, don’t do anything. Just move on to another topic like the unemployment rate.

Explain Moochelle’s job at the UofC Med Center where she earned $377,000 per year for a no show job for which she was totally unqualified.

Explain the fact that as a Senator you gave a $5million grant to them - of taxpayer funds - before they gave her this quid-pro-quo job.

This alone should send these two clowns to prison.
