Yep. If for no other reason than a lot of us paid a WHOLE lot more than 13% and if you add in tithing and donations to charity that’s even more than mittens was on the hook for.

Ninety percent of the country likely paid a whole lot less than 13%. Remember that about 50% paid zero income taxes. Divide your total tax paid by your gross income, and you will be surprised how low the percentage is. You're probably thinking "marginal tax rate" and adjusted income which includes deductions, rather than total paid.

He does not have a job like most of us so the tax percentage he pays will be on investments which is taxed lower than regular income I believe. Just like Warren Buffet. There is no wealth tax yet otherwise he would have paid alot more. I really could care less how much he paid in taxes.
