Jim one of these guys is going to be President. That’s a fact. I don’t like it anymore than you do. But things are what they are. The only question that matters is which one is going to at least try avoid the train wreck that’s coming.
One of these men will. The other is going to jam the accelerator all the way to the panel and crackle while we fly over the cliff.

Whatever anyone thinks about Romeny and Ryan, isn’t it refreshing to have two people who can talk and get their message out without a prompter?
None of those bizarre obama inflections and his snotty weasel attitude. None of those Biden “WTF did he just say?” moments.
They just talk and act like normal people. Adults. It’s almost weird after 4 years of man-child obama.

The thing about Romney is, for good or ill, he REALLY wants this job - and he's willing to kick in the teeth of anyone who tries to stand in his way. McCain spent half his time defending Obama. Romney isn't going to do stupid stuff like that.
The Ryan selection was excellent and the Romney/Ryan ticket seems to be keeping Obama off balance all the sudden. And guess what? After the convention R/R will really get started because that's when they will be able to spend all their money.

It really wasn’t even “wonk.” I didn’t actually hear any specifics about Romney’s plan. Just because you write on a white board doesn’t mean it’s wonk.
I think you guys are just easily impressed with whatever bone gets thrown. Such is the reality of politics for conservatives.

It shows Romney's acumen as a business man - choose the best man for the job at hand...
He didn't go with a gender/ethnic/most vital state choice. He chose the man he feels can help turn the train wreck around.
He is a seasoned administrator with a proven track record of choosing competent people for the right positions - which bodes well for filling his administration.
It's called delegation.
These two men are our ticket. It's not the ticket many of us hoped for...far from it. But it is now a choice between Romney/Ryan and Obama/Biden.
It's now that simple.
Anyone who doesn't vote to get obmam and his thugs out of the WH - is aiding and abetting him in his determination to destroy this country.
That is also that simple.
