I've been told that we must accept the liberal progressive abortion/homosexual pushing Republican Mitt Romney because we can do no better, that politics is the art of the possible.
Respectfully, I place my faith in God, not politics. With God ALL things are possible.
They say the man who for thirty or more years of his adult life advocated for abortion and homosexual rights and every other leftist cause that came down the pike is suddenly pro-life (and, according to Romney's recent lies, he's ALWAYS been pro-life).
Well, if Romney is serious about the fight for life, he should be forceful about it and immediately lay out his plans to overturn Roe v Wade and whatever other unconstitutional judicial rulings stand in the way of outlawing abortion. He should lay out his plans of impeaching all leftist activist judges that are usurping the constitution. He should declare war on the usurping abortionist/homosexualist/communist statist left!! He should layout his plans for expelling all the corrupt leftist usurpers from the congress.
He should announce his intentions of forever defunding Planned Parenthood and any and all other political groups (left, right or in between) now unconstitutionally drawing taxpayer funds! He should declare war on the abortion industry!! He should declare war on the unconstitutional homosexual agenda!! He should forcefully defend the constitution and our God-given unalienable rights to life and liberty to the hilt!!
He should consult with Ryan who apparently gets it that our rights come from God. He should deputize Ryan to lead the war against the corrupt abortionist/homosexualist/unionist communist bastards that have clearly been fighting a war against us for at least the past 50 years or more!! An unanswered war!! Don’t look now but the godless leftist bastards are winning because we do not have leaders who fight!!
We the people are rising up to fight it without leaders. We are the tea party and we're fed up and mad as hell about politics as usual and we aren't going to take it anymore!

To hell with Romney's hundreds of pages of political plans to tweak the economy. Tweaking does not get it done!! The federal government has no business controlling or tweaking the economy anyway.

This illustrates, to me, how foolish some FReepers are that won’t allow an imperfect candidate to rescue them from the greater evil of Obamunism.
Ask yourself this. If God’s plan is to elect Romney so the economy begins to heal and then Romney dies in office making Ryan president, is that not far better than re-electing Obama and having him die in office so Biden becomes president?
After all, with God, all things are possible. Why not trust God to do it His way instead of insisting you know better?
There's a truly terrifying phrase. I had a number of conversations with friends in 08 who were convinced Palin wasn't capable of being president.
To which of course my reply was that I thought she was a great deal more capable and competent than Biden.
I think my position has been well supported over the last 3 years.
Well, obviously, I have no control over anything but my own actions and you yours. The election of Romney may or may not be in God’s will. He leaves us and all voters with our own free will. Vote for evil, you get evil.
Make it a double impeachment. They are co conspirators in the attempted coup d’etat, y’know. Make it a constitutional crisis like there’s never been one before. If we have to leave the election of the next president with the House of Representatives, I’m fine with that. Just make sure we elect a super majority of tea party conservatives. Turn out as never before and vote straight CONSERVATIVE!!
Despise not the day of small things.
Before Obama, I had slim hope that the 17th could be repealed. But now in this environment, I believe it is doable especially electing the conservative candidates. Takes two thirds of both houses of Congress and then 3/4 of the states.
Obama by his lawlessness in office has done more to bring to light the need for the 17th to be repealed.
The 16th might be taller order. But if we don’t push for it, debate it, demand it and vote for people who will do it, no it would not happen.
There is no greater evil than that which corrupts from within.
You clearly have no chance of stopping that by refusing to oppose The Disaster.
There will be no baby-killing initiatives coming from the Romney administration and there clearly WILL BE coming from another Obama administration.
BTW The Disaster is killing more than just innocent babies and will continue to do so if allowed to stay in power.
Politics IS the art of the possible -- when Clinton won on a plurality the first time, the "possible" happened and he was forced to the right by the Republican Revolution. When he was elected by a plurality the second time, he was impeached. Talk about the art of the possible! And God lending a hand!
ABOers, there's a better way to use your vote. Forget about holding your nose and voting for Romney. Instead, HEED your nose and reject him. When your nose tells you something stinks, it's warning you it's rotten or toxic. Your nose is a wise and faithful guide. HEED IT.
USE your vote in the "art of the possible" by voting for a plurality -- voting third party. Mathematically and materially, any and all third party votes (and there will be plenty from the left) favor neither Obama nor Romney, but each and every one counts toward reducing the popular mandate of the winner. Because Obama is so very low in support and so many former supporters have abandoned him, there's very little chance he could win a majority. Good conservatives who rightly loathe Romney have been whipped up into a state of hysteria by pundits of the right, and it is dangerously near frightening them into voting for someone they KNOW is wrong.
Voting third party risks an Obama win, as it also risks a Romney win. Either way, the next president will be a liberal statist whom conservatives in Congress will have to oppose. Historically, conservatives have made great strides opposing liberal presidents elected on pluralities.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it is possible to obtain the necessary 2/3 majority of the Senate to impeach officials or judges.
Much less the 3/4 of states needed for an amendment.
That’s not the fault of politicians, it’s the fault of Americans, who are deeply split on these issues. You can’t get 2/3 or 3/4 majorities in a country split more or less 50/50.
For that matter, Obama can be redeemed.
Ryan will help.

Pray for a plurality and vote for a plurality. It's the best hope conservatives in Congress have for overpowering the next liberal president, be he Obama or Romney.

You're asking for someone to do something no other electable candidate has ever advocated before, and for things that have never been discussed at any TEA Party I've ever been to. In my view, it's time to fight only the battles that can conceivably be won.
Jim, after all the work I put in for what’s his name on the last presidential election I vowed never again, yet here I am encouraging the Romney vote. Granted, Romney wasnt our 1st 2nd or even 3rd choice; but I doubt our Country could withstand another 4 years of assault from Mr Executive Order. Look at his record. He’s a Keynesian. He has stated that TARP and the bailouts and the stimulus spending were all good and necessary to “save” the economy and more will be necessary. He even supports global warming and shamnesty. Do you have any idea how those two items affect our economy? He also obviously supports big government intrusion into our personal lives and what SHOULD be personal choice. Ever heard of RomneyCare?

We can survive another four years of Obama, especially if he is elected on an embarassing, humiliating plurality where the majority of Americans rejected him at the ballot box. He would be a joke, and a Congress with fresh new Republican and conservative faces, joined by liberal Republicans who suddenly fear for their own skins after seeing liberal Romney rejected, will successfully FIGHT and OVERCOME Obama.
