My eggs stick to the pan when I cook them in bacon grease.I got a great new cast iron skillet at Cracker Barrel. It has a textured surface that helps with the desticking. Works well. They have lots of sizes, plus lids. AND, I get to eat at a place with "Cracker" in the name! Almost the same crowd as Chick-fil-A!

I get to eat at a place with "Cracker" in the name! Almost the same crowd as Chick-fil-A!I love Cracker Barrel, but the one around here is in a location with horrific traffic. The Chick-Fil-A, on the other hand, is between my house and several places I go regularly. Tom and I will get milkshakes later when I pick him up at the Red Cross office in the county seat. So we'll die someday ... whatever ...

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel is OK but any other meal is suspect. The food is cooked someplace else and shipped in and thawed out. the staff can't even tell you what's in it because they didn't cook it. Most folks don't care but I have a lot of allergies and sensitivities. My husband ordered a beef dish and the meat was blue, kid you not, it was BLUE. We have not been back.
