Would you say no to the Vice President?
One New River Valley business owner turned Vice President Joe Biden down.
This might happen more than you think from both political parties, most businesses just don't talk about it. The owner of "Crumb and Get It" - did.

McMurray said he's hoping folks will understand he just didn't want to be part of a photo op for an administration whose policies he doesnt agree with.
I was in Radford yesterday trying to get take care of some personal business only to find I couldn’t get into the area due to Biden’s little visit. Didn’t give a hoot about seeing Biden...but it was cool to see the secret service and all those officers on motorcycles...now THEY were cool.
The beer stand at the fair should have said to the President we don’t serve your kind, Democrats that is.
:) don’t you mean socialists?
Same thing
...”McMurray said he’s hoping folks will understand he just didn’t want to be part of a photo op for an administration whose policies he doesnt agree with”...
It takes courage to challenge the Chicago machine. God bless McMurray for standing up to be counted.
I sense even the secret service is getting tired of carrying the water and cannot wait for Obama to lose in November.
Second it.
When King “o” came to Rolls Royce here in Prince George County below Richmond a couple of months ago, it was nothing but a pain in the rear. These folks invite themselves and then wait for lowly local politicians and common folks to rush forward to kiss their ring. I’m astonished how far we’ve fallen so fast.
His dog Pepe was a weird dog. The most docile Chow I ever met.
When King Barry was in my town about a year ago, he commandeered a local restaurant. Ever since he was there, I refuse to patronize the place and tell all tourists to avoid the restaurant....because if they support Barry, then I don’t support them.
The SS felt the same way about the Clintons, although it was Hillary the despised and thought Bill was a regular guy.

“Here’s the back story, were told that shortly after Crumb and Get It told Bidens advance people ‘no’ — the secret service walked in and told Chris McMurray ‘’Thanks for standing up and saying ‘no’ — then they bought a whole bunch of cookies and cupcakes.
McMurray said he’s hoping folks will understand he just didn’t want to be part of a photo op for an administration whose policies he doesnt agree with.”
THAT’S the story here!!!!! Cool!!!!
Wanna bet those secret service guys got their pink slips? He should have kept that part to himself.
My guess is the comments were not political but more like thanking them for not putting themselves in a situation where they were not happy to have Biden their. They don't need that complexity, especially if the press is their, it may show on their faces and they do not need that on top of their Jobs...

I liked this part "...shortly after Crumb and Get It told Bidens advance people 'no' -- the secret service walked in and told Chris McMurray ''Thanks for standing up and saying 'no' -- then they bought a whole bunch of cookies and cupcakes."
