One thread showed a couple of regular notepads with 'scrawlings' on them by Romney and Ryan.

A little while ago, I watched the video of Ryan at the Healthcare summit in 2009. He was stating facts and figures and errors in Obamacare, and he seldom referred to notes. That was when Obama slyly gave him a couple of middle fingers.

Ryan knows this stuff [the economy, the budget] backward and forward.

Notice how all the Secret Service people around Ryan are also not wearing ties. JFK was mostly responsible for men not having to wear hats all the time in public. Ryan might free us of the dreaded necktie!

Regarding CA - Obama is at 52% approval and our last governor was “republican”. I hope Romney/Ryan don’t just think it’s a lost cause (even if it probably is).
