Don’t forget “despite a torrent of criticism”....as though that’s a part of our legal system.

...despite a torrent of criticism that it will suppress votes among President Barack Obamas supporters... Have you ever noticed, you have to have a photo ID have a job? If this law eliminates anyone from voting, it's a small subclass of folks who are unemployable.
Funny how that works.

I’m glad the law is upheld, but I wonder how effective it really will be in Philadelphia with the Dems political machine entrenched there.

You need a photo id to get into an Obama event, you need a photo id to attend the DNC convention, you need a photo id to tour the White House ... why do the DemocRATs deny these things to blacks and Hispanics?

For $13.50 you can get a Pennsylvania ID card which lasts 8 years if you don't have a driver's license. You need a birth certificate/passport and two items like utility bills or tax records that show your current address. $1.69 per year isn't exactly a heavy burden.

I read that totally biased article earlier. No mention that 74% support voter identification laws.

Another state swings sharply Republican for some reason...
I find it curious that to get welfare and disability you have to show ID, but to vote, suddenly it is discriminatory because the welfare people or disabled may not have ID.

I wish everyone would look this up for this state and start responding to these voter id objections as being stupid: YOU NEED AN ID TO REGISTER TO VOTE, at least, in Texas. Its IMPOSSIBLE for someone to not be able to show an ID to vote if they are registered, since they’ve ALREADY shown one to register.
This business of talking about where an ID is needed is all well and good, but the real response, as shown here, shows the absolute STUPIDITY of arguing this will suppress ANY voter turnout.
So, please, look up your state’s statute on voter registration requirements and post it here.

make it harder for the elderly, disabled, poor and young adults to vote.
Why because they have take, maybe, two hours to go to the DMV and get a Pa ID for $10?
Why don’t the Spendocrats waive the $10 fee.
Since, all these folks are so poor they can’t afford $10 in order to vote?
Otherwise, are the elderly, disabled, poor and young adults to stupid they can’t find two forms of ID and the location of the DMV?

I watched a certain subset of humanity attempt to return a fishing rod to Dicks Sporting Goods yesterday without either the receipt or identification. I felt like asking the cashier if she thought it was some kind of dry run, but my 5 second delay kicked in.

Of course the left has no problem with non-citizens voting which amounts to neutering the vote of a citizen.
