I did as much homework as I could, and don't mind saying I wish there was a clear tea party candidate to show we are ready to beat all expectations, even in a (gag me!) blue state. Shays said if McMahon won he would not support her, well... good riddance! We did the best we could today, and McMahon was our best choice. Bring us someone else, I'm all ears but that was not our situation so you with best you've got. As you noted, I say don't beat us up for doing the best we can! Right now we are “leaning Obama” — that in and of itself is a miracle for CT. Hopefully soon we will, at a minimum, become a swing state. Can you imagine that? I've lived here 30+ years and never thought I'd see the day.
