Egypt's military has shown no sign of opposing the president's surprise decision to retire the defense minister and chief of staff and seize back the powers the military grabbed from his office.
President Mohammed Morsi's shake-up of the military took the nation by surprise. It has transformed his image overnight from a weak leader to a savvy politician who carefully timed his move against generals who stripped him of significant powers days before he took office on June 30.

That wouldnt be enough to cow a military that was truly dedicated to suppressing the MB. The MB got where it is today with the help of the military after all; there are plenty of top brass loyal to them and to the multitudes chanting
Were heading for Al Quds, martyrs in the millions in Tahrir Square. . .

This is NOT GOOD.
They are doing the same to Egypt as they did to Turkey.
The Middle East will become more volatile than ever before in the last 50 years, thanks to Obozo and his merry band of incompetents and buffoons, especially Hillary.
Pray for Israel............

If we look beneath the surface, I bet we will find Obama’s and Hillary Clinton's fingerprints all over this. The US has threatened the Egyptian military with aid cutoff and worse if they interfere with the fiction of Egyptian democracy. We will now see the full flowering of a Muslim Brotherhood Islamist government and the death and persecution of millions of Christians in Egypt. Soon we will see rabble rousing for an attack on Israel.

With regard to “Egypt military shows no sign of opposing president” ....

Not likely that that entered into it. What is more likely is that Morsi might know that the MB already has enough depth inside the military to prevent a coup. They were not exactly just sitting and waiting all the Mubarak years.

Not to mention Morsi “resigning” from the Muslim Brotherhood is the same tactic that MB candidates used to get voted into Mubarak’s government, by “quitting” and running as “independent” candidates.
