Here we go. Ping.
Issa should demand that Holder be held without bond pending the outcome of the trial.
Let's try this...
the latest escalation in the dispute between House Republicans THE RULE OF LAW and the Justice Department over the documents,
GO DARRELL!!!!!!!
And what, exactly, will this accomplish? Everything Issa has done has been totally ineffective thus far.
I’ll bet the shredders have been running nonstop all weekend.
The GOP giving yet another gift to the Democrats.
Wow. Will try to invest in the company that manufactures Depends tomorrow. Between Holder, BO and the rest of the dems, I should make a tidy profit!
go for the jugular Issa, don’t hold back.
Damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Should be nice to see what happens...
"Harry Reid demands I release 10 years of tax returns, to prove my innocence. But Eric Holder refuses to release documents of an illegal operation that smuggled weapons directly to drug cartels in a foreign country, that have been linked to the deaths of a federal officer and OVER 300 innocent Mexican citizens. And after the House cites Holder in contempt of congress, Obama declares "executive privilege."
Harry Reid asks what Mr Romney is hiding in his tax records? The American people deserve to know what the Obama administration is hiding in blocking the release of documents pertaining to illegal international gun running and hundreds of murders!"
I hope they grow a pair and do it!
Mark
Unfortunately this will amount to exactly nothing. And even if Holder were forced to comply then the precedent is set. Always stone wall Congress because you have nothing to lose by doing so. The very worst thing that can happen to Holder is that he has to give up what he does not want to give up. And that would be a long way down the road.
Glad to hear this.
Issa keeps pushing forward.
Holder will simply arrest Issa for Aggravated Felony Obstruction of the Administration.
Dear Roll Call:
It wasn't a botched gun-smuggling operation. The regime did it on purpose.
Signed:
The Zapata Family, and hundreds of dead Mexicans you conveniently forgot to mention.

Obama Statement on the Resignation of Alberto Gonzales
August 27, 2007
Barack Obama today released the following statement on the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
“I have long believed that Alberto Gonzales subverted justice to promote a political agenda, and so I am pleased that he has finally resigned today. The President needs to nominate an Attorney General who will be the people’s lawyer, not the President’s lawyer, and in an Obama Administration that person will first and foremost defend and promote the rights and liberties enshrined in our Constitution,” said Obama.
