I felt the same as you, but looked at it with an open mind. Now, especially with Ryan on board, I feel better about it. Honestly, better than the McCain campaign. Use your logic, research and learn more. Hope that helps.I feel better about it too. What I have to do at this point, is watch what they say and see if they really mean what they're trying to convince us they think. If they do, I may join you at some point. Is Romey better than McCain? Yes. In my opinion McCain was a sell-out lock stock and barrel. It wasn't beneath him to join our most promenent enemies on adventures. I dispise the man, and his daughter is an extension of him, walking precisely in his political footsteps.
Having said that, you can be a hell of a lot better than McCain and still be a despicable candidate from our side of the isle. That doesn't mean that I am operating with a closed mind. I'm always willing to listen to new information. Romney's pick of Ryan impresses me. I'm not convinced Ryan is the total package, but he's certain got some talents that are impressive. It spoke very well of Romney to pick him. These are things I picked up on, and an example of my willingness to assess them reasonably.
These two work well together. They're on the cusp of operating as a first rate stand up comedy team. If they went that route, I think they could impress folks with information, a great demeanor (not angry), and simply unravel Obama until he's standing in public nude.
When we've peeled back a few more layers, we'll know more.
