Why plenty of Pawlenty?
Too much.
My niece made the comment recently that her drive home had been so pleasant because the kids fell asleep and she could listen to NPR all they way home. Sad! She thinks she is getting the right stuff!
No, we are spending more in SS benefits than we are taking in SS payroll taxes. The shortfall is being made up by cashing in the IOUs in the SSTF, which must be redeemed by using General Fund money, 42% of which is borrowed.
Lowry embarrassed Rachel Madow on MTP re: the 700b theft from medicaid to pay for Obiecare....hope you saw that one.
Well said.
America is like that family in 2007 riding a wave of false prosperity spending $1.40 for every $1.00 in income.
Maxxed out credit cards and helocs on houses with negative equity.
Instead of luxury SUVs and McMansions, we’re paying SS benefits, EBT, TANF, 99ers, etc. Anything that will buy votes.
Of course it was pleasant having NPR tell you how spending other people’s money makes you a good person. Liberalism is a contact high.
Baby steps.
In this supercharged climate, with the media totally 100% spearheading and carrying the DNC, it would be difficult to get a Ryan past the majority of voters.
A Romney is used to retake the WH, then they have four (8?) years to counter the media with ideas that actually get this country back on the rails, showing the populace how it can and does work.
A good fire starts with twigs and a little tinder. Once the fire is producing good heat, it will accept larger logs.
What's this, some feeble ploy for the unenrolleds...If McCain says it, the murderits will vote for RR ticket?
Heh.
Love the concept of the car race.
Husband, a normal sort of guy but in older age he’s a bit more prissy....walks into kitchen scratching head.
“Do all those women playing vollyball need to wear tiny tops and bottoms?”
So let me say that this is one thing I have noticed myself but hey, I’m not a guy. But if I was jumping all around with boobs bouncing I’d be real careful what I wear.
In fact, I have a morning exercise routine that haves me lightly jogging around a backyard track and I got myself some hefty bras to control the bounce. I’m not even big-breasted but I don’t need the old lech next door peeking out his window at me bouncing all about.
So I sure don’t get it that those girls wear those short things except....IT’S INTENTIONAL!
I don’t know what to make of husband’s comment cause was a time he’d spend some happy time watching stuff bounce around at a woman’s volleyball game but he was of the same mind as I.
It’s maybe a leftover from my women’s lib days, I dunno, but a female who thinks the best way to attract attention is by wearing provacative clothes and bouncing around on national tv....well hey, I think that’s kind of sad.
Bump. You stated that very well. Thanks.
To the FReepers that “will not, under any circumstances, vote for Romney,” who will you vote for? Obviously, we need to get rid of nobama. Will your vote do that? If you’re planning to not vote in the presidential election, how will that help get rid of nobama? Will a write in vote or a vote for a third party candidate help us get rid of nobama?
Honestly, I’m not in love with Romney. But, even with all his faults, he’s light years better than nobama. Now that he’s picked Ryan I feel a little better. I’m hoping Ryan will educate and lead Romney some.
It comes down to this: On Nov 6, will you vote help us get rid of nobama? Pure and simple, no BS. That’s the question you must answer
Sir!
A post totally in keeping with your screen name.
Well, I didn't watch a second of the Olympics, but having seen the sport spectacle in the past....those volleybabes generally don't have all that much bouncability.
Ryan's contact with Ohio as a Miami U grad is more significant than Portman being a rather benign Ohio Senator. Folks like Ryan better and besides he may help deliver Wisconsin.
