That’s not pro-life at all. How many “personally” pro-aborts vote pro-life ? It’s like the marriage issue, I’d rather you be “personally” pro-fudge but vote NO on that abomination than the other way around. It ain’t how you talk, it’s how you vote.

I had no idea that’s what Hanneman meant by “pro-life” (I only knew that for years he had been attacked by liberals because he supposedly was “anti-choice.” Being only nominally pro-life, but voting pro-abortion, wouldn’t help the cause very much; we’d be better off with a “pro-choice” Congressman who voted against public financing, voted for restrictions, etc. (à la Johnny Isakson, Lynn Jenkins, etc.).
