You are correct. EVEN if it would cost us the bases (which it need not) 2 Marxist Senators are NOT an even trade. If worse came to worse we could forcibly occupy them ala Gitmo.

I’m a huge advocate or reorginzing boundaries for electoral purposes. German reunification was a huge mistake, East Germany still votes for leftist scum, Thatcher was right, a free but separate east was the right way to go. England should kiss Scotland GOODBYE, they send nothing but scum to Parliament.

Hawaii and Vermont should F off as far as I’m concerned. Hawaiian Independence and Vermont to Canada are only supported right now by a tiny leftist fringe but more power to them.

BTW Hirono won as expected which I think is the better outcome for Lingle.

I thought the better outcome would be Case beating Hirono ? I see Tulsi Gabbard won in the 1st, which means she’ll undoubtedly be the hottest member of Congress, hands down.

Hawaii is about to elect the nation’s first Hindu to Congress (Tulsi Gabbard) and perhaps its first Buddhist U.S. Senator (Mazie Hirono). I’d have no problem with it if they were conservative Constitutionalists, but that isn’t the case at all. I’m still hopeful that Linda Lingle can pull out a victory, which would make her the first Jewish Republican woman elected to the U.S. Senate.

Congressional history will be in the making one way or the other.
