i refuse to read anything form the useless POS spinners.
This ain’t nothin’. JUST wait til after Labor Day. The press is going to go HARD after Romney/Ryan.
Quite frankly, I just see this as setting up 2016 for Ryan to run for POTUS.
When is AP coming out with the story about Paul Ryan stomping puppies to death and eating live kittens ?
-PJ
“Romney vowed the duo would “preserve” Medicare, an eye-popping claim considering Ryan wants to transform the program from the ground up.”
***
Numbskulls don’t understand that the only way to preserve Medicare is to overhaul it.
Romney/Ryan claim to “preserve and protect Medicare for future generations” does not mean maintaining the status quo. Ditto SS.
A program can be changed i.e. improved without being terminated. Notice the libs don't claim Ryan will do away with Medicare, only that he would “do away with Medicare AS WE KNOW IT”
Ryan's plan would save Medicare for many future generations as would the privatization of SS.
I guess “Community Organizer” is the top wrung of the ladder for these asshats.
Yeah, Ryan is so effing radical he wants PEOPLE TO BE IN CHARGE OF THEIR OWN MEDICAL INSURANCE and NOT GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATS.
Damn, he is soooo crazy.
If a news story labels itself as a ‘fact check’, its a pretty safe bet that the story is pure editorial opinion and the reporter thinks putting the word ‘fact’ in the headlines will somehow give their opinions more credility with the intended audience.
I can’t count the number of ‘Fact Check’ articles I have read this year that amount to ‘Yes the conservatives candidate’s numbers are correct but its very unfair to measure the success of Obama’s programs in objective terms’ or ‘Yes, the liberal candidate’s statements were techically wrong but he meant well so we should give him credit for that.’
Note to liberal reporters: facts are objective things like numbers or dates, not interpretations. If you want to advance the argument that MediCare can be better ‘preserved’ by promising much more than we can possibly afford to deliver until the system collapses than by matching promises with revenue, at least have the decency to call your piece an editorial opinion.
This is the same AP that said four years ago that they would put opinion or editorialize in their reporting and not just in their opinion pieces.
