I was thinking, "Where will they get US military members who would do such things?" They won't need to.
It would be a combination of unmanned drones for the strategic stuff which would only need a hand full of "loyal" soldiers and ChiComs under U.N. command for urban combat.
The Chinese would easily tolerate a one-to-one loss of their soldiers for every American and still have 700 million people left over.
