Moderates outspent their conservative opponents 3-1 and the conservatives still bested them. Moderates must be beside themselves wondering what they can possibly do to cling to power. They’ll try being fake conservatives but we’re not fooled by that anymore.

The policies will change or the people will change!!

What happened in Utah is a perfect example. After what happened with Bennett, Hatch suddenly saw the writing on the wall and became a convert to the ultra conservative side. He faced a TEA party challenge and just barely held it off but he has really had to change his tune to do it. I hope the people of Utah hold his feet to the fire after the election.

I had a chance to meet and talk to Hatch, he seems sincere and truly conservative, he just worries too much about what it will look like if he is not nice to the Democrats. I say screw the Democrats, there isn’t one in office I would vote for. If a Democrat politician was on fire I wouldn’t wee wee on him to put him out.
