The United States is considering establishing a no fly zone over Syria to protect civilians from air strikes.
In a forum hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations Wednesday, White House Counterterrorism Advisor John Brennan said the Obama administration is trying to evaluate the possible effects of a no fly zone over Syria.

Why does this have to come from a KOREAN news source, and not our own media?
More "Humaitarian Bombing", and 'Kinetic Military Action' against those magical flying tanks and buildings?
Congress needs to pass an amendment banning involvement in Syria. If Boehner balks then he should be sacked from his position immediately.
Didn’t Rick Perry suggest that 20,000 dead people ago?
And and what a convenient time to do it.
One of these days a country is going to put a “no fly zone” over American cities.
And they are going to say to us “You bomb one of our cities and I am going to bomb an American city.”
Really not that hard to do.
Sacking Boehner from his position needs to be a required campaign promise for any conservative running for Congress in 2012.
How is Barry the Kenyan Guy going to patrol all of that area and still be able to attend all the fundraisers to make money to finance his lying “ads”?

$10,000 a plate Falafal dinner fundraisers?
Shoot Hoops with Syria’s top basket ball players?
$3 raffle tickets to have dinner with Assad’s wife?
Ping
Bad move. As Russia and/or China will ignore it. So either WWIII breaks out or U.S backs down.
If only it was not 3 months to go, "No Fly Zone" would be so different for his royal wussness...
Boehner should have been sacked a year and a half ago.
Reminds me of the story about the old guy who was visiting his young son. He asked his son if he had a newspaper. Son enlightened dad on the change from newspapers to the electronic age and handed him his iPad. That fly never knew what hit him.
Surely if WWIII breaks out the American people will rally around the President during such a time.
20,000 muslim-brotherhood friends of Al Qeida dead people ago,,yeah.
The Washington Post ran a story (possibly a trial story) about how Syrian resistance forces are getting angry at the US for not providing a “No Fly Zone”.
Actually I agree with them We should either shit or get off the pot.
Assad is a regional threat and an ally of both Hamas and Iran. The new guys may be worse, or better, or the same, but Syria was one of the three legs of the Axis of Evil tripod (Iran, Iraq and Syria) that threatened all of the Middle East.
If Assad goes, he will join Saddam Hussein (a bloody memory), Muammar Qadafy, (another bloody memory), thus completing one Trifecta of death for the Axis of Evil (and its Libyan cousin).
The point won’t be lost on the Mad Mullahs and AcneGenocide in Iran. Their time is coming and their deaths will be just as bloody, a curse be upon their souls.
[So far no mention of shoulder-fired missiles being used by the Free Syrian Army. If they have them, they had better use them, and fast. Where is the CIA when you need them?
Oh, I forgot. Panetta is the head of the CIA.
John Brennan, a complete fool, is Obama’s national security advisor. That’s like Charles Manson being the head of a party planning business.
What a f*cking bunch of losers Obama has picked, and deliberately so.
Ahhhh,, the old “no fly zone” trick. We are just wanting to fly fighters, to keep the Syrians on the ground.
And of course, we can’t endanger our pilots, so we have to bomb all the AAA missile sites (where the Russian advisors are!).
And of course, at least one plane goes down from mechanical issues. And of course, we need immediate action Marine react force ready to launch 24/7.
And of course, we need a joint command so that all the officers get another ticket punch and Leigion of Merit medal. And it HAS to be an international command!
And we need to make sure it benefits former Al Qeida soldiers, and keep it all under a 500 Billion. I know im missing something,,,, thinking.
Yeah...like that statement inspires confidence....
In before the "unexpected" blowback
