A Democratic lawmaker says Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) offended the entire Congressional Black Caucus by delivering Chick-fil-A chicken and biscuits to their weekly meeting and then walking out when it was his turn to provide the group with a formal lunch.

And no watermelon with the chick-fil-a? No wonder the black caucus was offended.
Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) told The Huffington Post
In 1977, he became a judge of the circuit court of Broward County, Florida. In 1979, he was appointed by President Carter as a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.
In 1981, Hastings was charged with accepting a $150,000 bribe in exchange for a lenient sentence and a return of seized assets for 21 counts of racketeering by Frank and Thomas Romano, and of perjury in his testimony about the case. In 1983, he was acquitted by a jury after his alleged co-conspirator, William Borders, refused to testify in court (resulting in a jail sentence for Borders).[1]
In 1988, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives took up the case, and Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413-3. He was then convicted in 1989 by the United States Senate, becoming the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed from office by the Senate. The Senate, in two hours of roll calls, voted on 11 of the 17 articles of impeachment. It convicted Hastings of eight of the 11 articles. The vote on the first article was 69 for and 26 opposed,[2] providing five votes more than the two-thirds of those present that were needed to convict. The first article accused the judge of conspiracy. Conviction on any single article was enough to remove the judge from office. The Senate vote cut across party lines, with Senator Patrick J. Leahy, Democrat of Vermont, voting to convict his fellow party member, and Senator Arlen Specter, Republican of Pennsylvania, voting to acquit.[3]
The Senate had the option to forbid Hastings from ever seeking federal office again, but did not do so. Alleged co-conspirator, attorney William Borders went to jail again for refusing to testify in the impeachment proceedings, but was later given a full pardon by President Bill Clinton on his last day in office.[4]
Why was this convicted felon allowed to seek public office again.
Greetings, manc - hope all is well with you and yours.

There's not a bit of gay in me!
Now THAT's funny!
I leave it to you to discern -1- if that was a slip or a statement of true fact, at that particular time....and -2- if there's anything wrong with that.
Yikes!
Romney is stuck at dead center.
West would make a GREAT Veep!
This might move the poll needle: I think that Romney should SEAL his Federal and State Tax Records when he announces who his Veep will be.
That would give The Media a double surprise with maximum Media audience.
That’s the one.
“Now, listen y’all. This here concert is over.”
how are you, I was getting worried and I’ve lost your e=mail?
Good to see you back on and around, yes this whole fecal sex is sick.
Who would have thought that we’d be seeing these people out nad about telling us that we have to accept their agenda and its all based on their fecal or strap on sex.
I went to CFA and told the kids that this was about free speech, religious freedom and that the radical left wants to close all of thatdown.
How am I supposed to say that we have a small group out there which wants special rights based on how they have ther sex.
When we go there it seemed half the town was there , what a turn out it was and then the loons on th eleft try and have thei’r which was a massive flop, then they did a re-do at Starbucks and that was a failure too.
They need to understand that they are a small minority where the people are getting pissed off with them or are pissed off with them.
They can do all the polls as they want and oversample certain groups but the fact is that most say no in private.
So would I.
I’ll make it easy for you:
Liberal Logic = terminal stupidity
