Agreed. This year has been hard. Had a sick kitty, which cost me a billion.
I understand. One of ours developed feline ARDS six years ago. We had no idea what it was and went with aggressive care. I don't want to divulge what we spent. He survived and is healthy and with us today. It was worth every penny.
We found out afterwards the survival rate was less than 5%. The Vet Hospital was thankful (didn't give us a discount though) because it assisted them in developing their treatment plan and to work on the animal oxygen cage. I'm glad we did not know what the survival rate was before treatment.

I won’t divulge what I had to spend either. But she/he (I thought he was a she when she lived in my backyard for almost a year).
Long story short...she is fabulous now. I thank the Good Lord and every FReeper whom prayed for her (I had a prayer thread).
I truly believe it was our fellow FReepers who got the job done. A bunch of “strangers” praying for a little beast of His, who they do not know, HAD to make a difference.
