Joe Biden Takes Another Week Off! (Is Joe Being DUmped from Ticket?)
weeklystandard.com ^ | August 6, 2012 | DANIEL HALPER

Joe Biden is taking another week off.

According to his official White House schedule, "The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will be in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. There are no public events scheduled." Just one month ago, Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, took the week of July 4 to vacation. That vacation was also spent at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Biden's second week-long vacation in as many months is likely to fuel speculation that President Barack Obama is considering dropping the veteran politician from the ticket this election. Biden's frequent errors and gaffes in office and on the campaign trail have been the source of much consternation for the Obama administration, and have resulted in strong calls for Biden to be dropped from the ticket.

And if so, who would replace him on the ticket? Hillary?

Gee, if anything were to happen to Oboma - SHE would immediately become president.
Think he'd take that risk? She's always coveted that position. There would only be one man standing in her way.

Maybe the name of the source should be changed to The American Speculator?

Man oh man, that picture is worth 10,000 words

the only good thing about having the incompetent bureaucrat Hillary as VP would be watching the woman hatred coming from Moochelle and Valerie Jarrett, and watching Bill constantly upstage both his wife and the WH

popcorn, please

Not sure Hillary would ever do this, she’d almost certainly have to give up her live-in girlfriend

With the impeached rapist, Bubba Klinton, working with the kenyan and giving a speech at the DU convention, it could be a real possibility.

Seems...
X42 is still working all the angles...

....the gaffe-guy gets jettisoned...
.... then the hitlery-beast uses her sharp elbows, the testicle hammer, and "the look" to get into the 2-slot...

just food for thought....
(pass the popcorn)

“They may try putting Hillary in, with Joe leaving for “health reasons.””

I hate to break it to you, but this has been the plan, since AT LEAST last summer, if Obama appeared to be in trouble come Convention time.

It’s been talked about, over and over again, by any number of Democrat/Media websites like Kos.

I doubt Hillary would get on Obama’s sinking ship.

Why would Hillary get within a mile of this train wreck!! I think Bill is going to do just enough to be able to claim he was a loyal party guy and then hope for failure when Romney is elected...it is the only path for Hillary. If the doesn't run in 2016 she will be to old. Four more years of Obama is going to be disastrous for the country for sure but it will certainly be disastrous for the dems. No way to blame Bush!!!

He likes the podium and the crowds too much. Joe will go kicking and screaming. It will be ugly and the Obama campaign doesn’t need ugly right now.

He is taking some time to write and polish a speech describing about the wonders and glamor of his hometown Scranton PA in light of the recent fiscal crisis. Scranton has a no gaffe policy so he needs time to be sure his lies are correct

The recent closing of the power house Dunder Mifflin distribution warehouse has shaken the cities economy and Biden needs to bone up on the company since it came about after he left town.

Term limits.

To be Vice President, you have to be eligible to be President, and since Bill Clinton has served two terms, he is not eligible to serve another term as President.

RB really isn’t that bad. If you are a family with kids down from Philly you won’t notice it. The main beach is straight and family. A mile or two north there’s another beach, but off season it’s mostly fishermen.

I’m from DC and the wife and I are moving to RB. Have known it for 30+ years. After all this time in DC, the gaydar is fairly well tuned. Anyone without that might not even notice. Even the T-Shirts in RB are on the decent side. Evey few years they get a bit risque, and the next year it’s back to safe.

If you are gay, it might be fun, but you’re still an outsider.m from DC and the wife and I are moving to RB. Have known it for 30+ years. After all this time in DC, the gaydar is fairly well tuned. They have their few restaurants and hangouts, but not that prominent. Mostly back streets.

Did not know that about VP eligibility. Were there any early presidents who later served at VP?

No. It is important to understand that you can’t keep up that rate of gaffes without a recovery period. It take a massive toll to keep churning out those gaffes.

Poor Joe has been expending so much energy the the past 3.5. years keeping those gaffes coming almost daily. He has to rest up as there is an important home stretch in the campaign that is straight ahead. Joe is needed given there is so little time and so many potential gaffes to unload.
