You may be right. If the Tea Party is overwhelmingly behind Romney then I may not be the Tea Party type that I thought I was. That’s the trouble with labels I guess.
There is no monolithic Tea Party platform. I’ve met all kinds of people. The one “overwhelming” theme is see America end it’s fascination with progressivism. Cry, crawl, walk, run seems to be path humans take. That’s progress. I would say the TP is well into the second stage and starting to hang on the furniture as it learns the third. The abortion didn’t work.
Good lord. All he was saying was that the overwhelming majority of TeaPartiers will wind up voting for Myth. He’s clearly right about that. I may even vote for the dirtbag myself...still don’t know.
All I know is I hope he picks a Rubio or other real conservative so I can get the Romney/Rubio bumpersticker and cut off the “Romney” bit.

An excellent point. I'm afraid that if that is what it takes to qualify to be a member of the Tea Party today then many of us will be reassessing our affiliation come November. I know I will be if I'm expected to just fall in line and vote for whoever has an 'R' after their name no matter what. To my way of thinking that is just more of the same old BS that got us in the fix we find ourselves in today.
