There is no monolithic Tea Party platform. I’ve met all kinds of people. The one “overwhelming” theme is see America end it’s fascination with progressivism. Cry, crawl, walk, run seems to be path humans take. That’s progress. I would say the TP is well into the second stage and starting to hang on the furniture as it learns the third. The abortion didn’t work.
If I had to choose a label for myself it would be “strict-constructionist”...a tiny minority these days.
