Various conservative-minded blogs, including some of the most eminent and well-respected, have flooded the internet with “Harry Reid is a pederast ( or pedophile)” rumors, innuendos and suggestions, like this one, from Red State:

Well, It’s out there now, Harry should just come forward and produce some documents to prove otherwise..
Well, the seriousness of the accusation makes it true until Harry can prove it wrong. Now that the story is out there, children might decide to come forward to testify against him.
That’s not what I get when I google his name.
After this morning’s political shows, I’m getting Harry Reid a “dirty liar” for news on Harry Reid... kinda like that one.
My suggestion to Harry Reid is that if he wants to continue down this road he needs to make his accusations while standing on the grave of his mother in the dog cemetery in Searchlight, NV.
Must be true. Why else would he keep a Filipino pool boy in his basement? (So I heard)
The FACT that he hasn’t answered the allegations by unnamed sources have raised suspicions within the online community.

Well, this is the first I’ve heard about that. It may be totally unsubstantiated innuendo for all I know, but on the other hand, I haven’t heard any convincing argument against it, so I’ll be happy to repeat it to everyone until Harry comes clean about his disgusting sexual preferences.
How do we know it is false?
With so many people talking about it it needs to be investigated.
After all, accusing Harry Reid of pederasty is a very serious charge.
The Democrats are very big on insisting that people be investigated when charges are as serious as these.
Considering all the chatter coupled with the seriousness of the charges, one would think the Democrats would be all over this.

This sure isn’t something to label someone as without some damn good evidence. I know some people who’s politics I consider disgusting who would still take a bullet to protect a child.

Reid accused Romney of felony tax evasion without a shred of proof: claiming that "someone had told him".
So - unless we want to live in a world where HARRY REID OF ALL PEOPLE gets to libel anyone he likes - we have to shove his baseless assertions up his pederastic ass.
