Is it too much to ask for the GOPe to start supporting Conservative candidates?
Is it too much to ask to have them send out talking heads that don’t support McCain or Romney type candidates?
Is it too much to ask to have them support Conservative candidates instead?
How about them sending out talking heads that actually hawk Conservative values like Reagan did?
Is it too much to ask them to support decent legislation and quite trying to foist off more big government programs, or make illegal and criminal aliens among us legal residents, headed toward citizenship?
How about sending out leaders who inform state party leaders and members that open primaries are hurting us, and that the state membership should work to get those abolished, or a the very least make a lot of noise when these ballots come up in new states?
How about the GOPe starting a movement to get all open primaries abolished?
Do you see any of that now?
The answer is no.
That would at minimum, be the places I’d start.

Thanks Doughty for your response, I know your are being inundated because your are advocating a really controversial position.. However, your plan is more a retrenchment, or an after-action priority wishlist.. A good one, that I don’t believe anyone on this board would argue with..
My concern is, why would this not work in the next election whether or not we win?? If we were to win, and as I see it today, is still a very long shot, given what the Comrades will do, legally or otherwise, to keep this regime in power.. I will be the first to join you in punishing any Pol that drops us into the liberal abyss again..
Something I haven’t told many of my FRiends here, I was a working Democrat until late Carter, actually working in the Capital in Austin as an official department head for a Dem Governor, and I can tell you stories what these bastards can/will do to cheat.. But I digress..
When I left the party, I did so with a vengeance, and became a major bundler for Reagan, Bush Sr (UGH), Bush Jr’s first term, and Speaker Gingrich (Contract With America)..
Sorry to say, I have been an interested observer for the past decade, however, I know my way around politics, from the inside, and I will work around the clock to demolish the next GOP turncoat that steps in our way, PROMISE!
