'Our most cherished liberty was thrown in a Dumpster'

Despite the ongoing church versus state drama, the mandate, today, is in effect for most new and renewing health insurance plans. A variety of health care services — many of which are benign and relatively uncontroversial — are included on the required list.

Shirking the controversy surrounding the regulation, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius took to Capitol Hill on Tuesday and praised the new regulations going into effect.

Not everyone shared such a positive view on the matter. Take, for instance, Matt Smith, president of the Catholic Advocate.

“August 1st will be remembered as the day our most cherished liberty was thrown in a government Dumpster and hauled away,” he said on the eve of the mandate’s effective date. “A day when family-owned small businesses were forced to abandon their religious beliefs to provide products and services for free.”

Would seem to be a simple solution. Drop health coverage effective immediately, send out notices explaining why (because of Obama and the Democrats) to your employees and an apology, including the mention that you will be happy to re-instate coverage at the first point that the requirement is dropped.

Make sure to include the phone numbers and contact info for the appropriate politicians.

Then watch the anguished screams and eventual news stories about how Obama cost them their health care. Should help seal the deal in November.

Sebelius is just another example of a monster like creation called the Democrat party.
They do not believe in God, they believe in the Democat party.
Nothing is too vicious or too immoral that they cannot believe in it, if it will forward their agenda.
Money and Power rule over them, and they wish to rule over us.
THEY DO NOT WANT TO GOVEN >>>US THEY WANT TO RULE OVER US.

If we do not fight to get rid of them this year, they WILL rule over us. Lest we forget ,some Republicans have been inflicted with this disease also and must be forced out, a few at a time, as their turn comes.

Sadly, Mr. Matt Smith, today should be remembered as the day all the churches stood up to tyranny instead of a day the churches laid down their beliefs at the altar of government adoration.
