First off, Adam Smith is a fool if he thinks reasonable people will buy into his baloney re: his "original intent."

Second, he attempts to place at least some of the blame at the feet of his "inspiration," Jackson Pearce. While I strongly recommend you watch the video posted at the Blaze website that she created, I also beseech you to look at the follow-up, which can be found HERE. See if you notice the same things I did.

I don’t believe him that he has been threatened.

Should someone be fired from their job and threatened with violence, torture, even death because they have an opinion different than yours? Of course not. And yet, that is what Adam M. Smith of Arizona says happened to him.

Boo.

Friggin'.

Hoo.

Liberals have a really hard time with irony, don't they?

Claiming that they’ve received death threats is an age old tactic of the left used to evoke sympathy and shame their opponents into silence.

This guy was fired because he took out his frustration on a young employee instead of dealing with the Chick-Fil-A corporate management in a proper fashion. He was rude, obviously trying to elicit a response from the woman that he could get here in trouble on, and should know better for the level position he held. Would he want public person doing this to one of his employees?

The guy’s a jerk and deserved what he got. The Blaze is a left wing tool and will do anything, say anything, to trash America and Americans. They, and Smith are two of a kind. Bigoted, socialist liars.

In the old days, Adam would have been taught a lesson in getting his butt kicked by a boy friend or brother. AAHHH for the old days.

If he was threatened he needs to call the police. I doubt the claim. A guy that creepy could easily be a liar too.

I thought he was fired for being an abusive bully, trying to intimidate a young woman. That has nothing to do with his opinion, only his contemptible conduct.

He is lucky that he does not live in a more chivalric age, or the consequences might be a bit more severe than losing a job.

I didn’t want to register in order to leave a comment, but their “poll” is ridiculous. “Is it un-American, to be fired, arrested, threaten(sic) in any way, for making known your beliefs?” They’re too stupid to differentiate between GOVERNMENT actions and private actions.

He makes a big deal out of being married with 4 kids —hey it’s GREAT he adopted, but is he married to a woman or a MAN....?

Because I suspect he is married to man.

I think he’s a militant gay guy who “married” and is looking after these poor kids.

Why doesn’t the COLLEGE also fire him, huh?

It’s simple. He wasn’t fired for his opinions. He was fired because as an executive representative of his company he pushed his opinions on an innocent bystander in a threatening and inappropriate manner that reflected poorly on his employer.

Too bad he is such a moron; no tears shed-—ever.

Adam is a poor decision maker. Based on the judgement he used and the actions he took, I do not believe he is qualified to be a CFO.

I can’t believe that a corporate executive would think that this type of public behavior wouldn’t backfire on him or his company. I suppose it’s just another indicator (like the video wasn’t enough) of how arrogant and self-centered this guy truly is.
